Jesus has Feelings of Love

Jesus has feelings and emotions towards His people. He has a loving care for His children. In John 3 …God so loved…, but in John 1: his own received him not.

Luke 13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!  It is sad that most of the nation of Israel at the time of Christ did not respond to Him as the Son of God. He loved them, yet He was unloved by many.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

Bumps in Life

A few of us humans encounter bumps and troubles in life.  I think only about 99.9999 percent of humans experience bumps. Consider the Apostle Paul who encountered a few bumps in his life and ministry; look at Second Corinthians chapter one and chapter four.

2 Cor 1:8 For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life: 9 But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:

2 Cor 4:7  But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

Notice the two phrases in blue above. Paul trusted in God, not himself. Paul trusted in God’s power, not his strength.

God is eternal, and powerful, He cannot be kept or contained in a box.

Psalms 106:48 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord.

Psalms 103:17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;
Only man is dumb enough to try to put God in a box.

Morning Meditation on the Word

Meditation on Bible verses in the morning is a great way to start the day and to listen to God. What does God say? God’s Word is exactly what God wants to say to us. The words of the Bible are worth reflecting on prayerfully. A great verse is Genesis 24:63, “And Isaac went out to meditate in the field toward evening. And he lifted up his eyes…”   Both morning  and evening are great times for meditation.

Psalms 119:97-100 O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.
Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.
I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.
I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.

Morning Bible Verses – Revelation Chapter 12

The encouraging overcoming morning verses for today are from Revelation 12.  Notice the strong overcoming words like:   salvation, strength, kingdom, power, cast down, overcome, and rule.

Revelation 12:12  I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Revelation 12:5  And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

Morning Scripture Verse – Revelation Chapter 11

God always wins and the Bible story has an encouraging happy ending. So God in His word, the Bible, the scriptures looks forward to the day where every evil thing is subdued on the earth. At that future time the earth is returned to the original creator and owner, which is God.

Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. 16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, 17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.  This is a wonderful encouraging Bible verse.
